I ordered my Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 3 for Xbox today. However, I have two problems. 1. I can't hear myself through the headphones. I was able to do this with my Gen 2. 2. My mic doesn't work during a party. I've tried everything, but it just doesn't seem to work.

So I'm getting this exact headset but the Xbox version and from what I've seen the Xbox version does work on the Playstation it's just the PlayStation version that doesn't work on Xbox. When you go to the Amazon page for the headets there are 2 distinct versions of Stealth 600 Gen 3. The Compatability section for the Xbox varient still shows it's compatible with PS5/PS4 as well as everything but the one that seems specific to the PlayStation doesn't have the Xbox compatibility but still remains compatible with everything else. They are also both listed at the same price making one wonder why anyone would even buy the PlayStation specific varient since it's less compatible?

If people are PlayStation specific then they’d go for that one as it’s the more popular console between it and the Xbox. Not many consumers own all 3 platforms but if the PC or Xbox version of the headset works with all 3 then that’s a sure fire win

I personally feel they are close in performance but I’m giving the edge to the Nova 5 over the 600 Gen 3. But if we put the TB Atlas into the mix then I’m putting that above both of them and I’ll showcase why in my review of it later on this week. The Nova 5 just sounds the clearest and has the best noise cancellation between it and the 600 Gen 3

Great video.i just got my pair i got the PlayStation version but when I turn off the headset I don’t hear the audio on my tv and the transmitter stays flashing green

Because you have to manually go to the audio settings on PlayStation to switch it back to tv audio

Man mine are quiet as shit and im disappointed. Sliding the windows volume all the way to 100 makes the thing sound like its at like 60 or 70 percent volume meanwhile my 9 year old corsair void pros sound deafening if i go over 40% volume. I usually keep my corsairs at 34% windows volume and they are loud as shit

Mine has the same issue!!! I just bought them brand new had them working for the first day, day 2 the turned on connected I started playing and they were so loud, I tried turning them down, they made a weird beep and got basically completely quite, it will not turn up at all, neither dial works, I turn it off and back on… same thing.. super loud and if I touch the game sound dial it beeps and goes completely quite. I have the app and can see they are fully charged, all my setting are correct. There’s just an issue with them already. I use the Xbox series x it’s also pretty new, maybe 2 months old. I had the stealth 700 for years they ended up breaking ,(just stoped connecting ) so I down graded and I’m pissed at the results

I’m a little bit confused but I got the Stealth Gen 3 as well and my question is, can you use the 2.4 wireless feature for the super human hearing feature or does that super human feature only work with Bluetooth enabled?

Superhuman hearing is trash honestly you most likely won't ever use it. Regular audio will work just fine.

I had the 700 gen 2 but the earphone speaker broke they were the Xbox version but when I used on my ps5 I couldn’t lower the volume for voice chat so I got the stealth just for the ps5 today .

Barracuda can play game and Bluetooth at Same time. That's it's only advantage.

Xbox version works on everything and just for info the hyper x alpha has a 300 hour battery life. It's not just TB doing it

So after using them for a week and comparing them to my Hyperx headsets there is something wrong. With these new stealth 600’s does the treble sound off to anyone on these on console? I’ve toggled the 3d audio on and off and no difference. Same with the 4 sound modes. The treble just sounds really compressed or just really hollow almost like you’re hearing it through a pillow. Or is it just me? Think I might return these and just stick with Hyperx.

This gen 3 stealth 600 are definitely lemons. I know how to use headsets and I see people say like “make sure they are charged” or “is the volume up” no man I didn’t think to adjust the volume?!?! Like wtf.? The volume doesn’t work. They are either 1000% way loud and if you touch the volume it goes straight you 0.00001% volume. It’s fucked! And if you have superhuman hearing off you have absolutely 0% volume. I use the app as well and can see everything and function them with the phone. But you can’t adjust the volume either way. They are lemons man. I did the updates and all when I got them. I can’t fix this nor use these POS. I’m returning them. I need to get something reliable but with good quality. The 600 for the 1st day the worked sounded great! But man I need more then a day for $130

If you are on PC, make sure you switch the dongle to USB mode. The switch is on the side of the wireless dongle
