Turtle Build Series! This is the final part of the 4 part series on building turtles! Today is Day 190 of the Metal Relic video challenge! The script is mine, the voice is AI's.
We resume the build by focusing on the intricate details of the legs, neck, and tail. As with everything else, I need them to be perfect. These parts are crucial to give our metal turtle its characteristic look and stability. To achieve the right spacing and prevent any issues, I use some small nuts as spacers. This keeps these components from bottoming out.
Now, moving on to the underside, I'll tack the outside of the belly as well. This step is purely for aesthetic purposes since the pieces have already been securely welded on the inside. The exterior tacking gives it a polished, finished appearance that matches the rest of the turtle's body. After this, they just need a thorough clean-up before we move on to powder coating, which will protect the metal and add a sleek finish.
