I had a choice between Ground Chuck and Dirtbag . I chose Ground Chuck and I've regretted it ever since.

Toyline Wyrm is also the only Wyrm that was once a human, all the other Wyrms were never human. Chrome dome was one of the choices in the SNES version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tournament Fighters. That reminds me, did you ever play any version of TMNT Tournament Fighters as a kid or later? I bet your brother would've loved to see Chrome dome play such a big role! In the cartoon, Tattoo was encountered trying to break into a pet store and mumbling about going home, the Turtles turn him back into a hamster and he goes back into his cage, leading to the Turtles to mumble about Shredder trying to create new mutants. So your memory was correct, I seriously get the impression David Wise was really struggling to fit in all those characters. Hamster Sumo would be pretty cool, NGL. In the archie comics, the cover of the Tattoo comic lies, instead Tattoo teams up with the TMNT to fight the Yakuza. We also learn he rides a motorycle and owns a pet chihuahua named Inky.

Another fun video! I felt the same way as a kid about the Neutrinos-the ‘50s throwback was lost on me, but I came to appreciate them more as I got older. They’re still relatively boring compared to the crazy mutants, but they’re fun. I agree on excessive articulation, too-I was never a huge fan of how it broke up a sculpt. I actually prefer no ab crunch in modern figures... I think Super7’s articulation format for the TMNT Ultimates is perfect!
@brendansrambles94643 жыл бұрын
I completely agree. Super 7's TMNT Ultimates have the best balance of good articulation and good aesthetics. Ab crunches are probably my least favorite looking point of articulation.
Another Example of weapons being the same is Rocksteady and General Tragg they both have the same Knife

I love your turtle collections! I had the April O'Neil, Mona Lisa, Casey Jones, and Michelangelo figures. I mostly collected all of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles books, movies, soundtracks and dish sets even the Hero Turtles from UK. With the birthday party thing I know how you feel on that. In some schools they have a rule that if the kid wanted to invite their friends their party they have to invite even the other kids weather they were friends or not! Your dog is cute! 😻 I love the neutrinos! ❤

Thanks for all the compliments! And cool to hear how much TMNT stuff you collected. I never knew about the Hero Turtles topic until KZbin, so it's awesome to hear you actually owned some of the merch with that title. The dish sets sound particularly cool.

I always found Wyrm terrifying and disgusting in Archie comics, like he was a bloodthirsty predator who just wanted to eat everyone he's encountered. And his ability to split in a bunch of mini-wyrms, that sucked the blood from the victim like leeches, was just scaring and grossing me out as a kid. His figure was nicer and not so horrible, but just ugly and stupid, never had him in my childhood, but when I realized that he was a colleague of Muckman and a good guy in Playmates canon, I bought him on eBay to fulfill the collection.

Yeah, he was terrifying in the comics. But I loved his figure

Forgive me if you already learned this after this video came out but the Neutrinos are recurring characters in the IDW TMNT comics.

It's weird that that spelled his name as Wyrm, because that's actually a dragon type. None the less, he looks awesome!
@brendansrambles94643 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I remember learning about wyrms from seeing Magic the Gathering cards and being like "huh". Instantly made me wonder why they chose that spelling for him. I guess it was just the 90s attitude spelling. in the 90s, every letter was replaced with X, Y, or Z if possible, and Cs were all Ks.

He was, but I only cover the new characters in each wave in these videos. Super Shredder is an alternate form of Shredder, so I excluded him. I still plan to do videos for the variants of the turtles, Shredder, Splinter, and Bebop and Rocksteady at some point.
