You missed a detail at 2:25. They higher-ups called for Satoru to be the one to execute Yuta, but Satoru decided that he didn't want to murder him and instead wanted to teach him. They didn't call him to teach Yuta how to control Rika like you stated. The higher-ups were upset by Satoru's decision, and ultimately said they would do it themselves if Yuta ends up summoning Rika again (after he summons Rika to save the children).

Let’s remember something The fact that Rika is considered a special class curse Normally, first class sorcerers are to go toe-to-toe with special grades However, there are those few, even among special curses, that take special grade to another level, to the point that only so few yet incredibly powerful sorcerers rank up to the title “special grade sorcerers” Tyra’s special grade is referring to him but he gets that power through Rika Essentially, before the reveal, Rika was considered to be up there with the big, BIG curses At least that’s my take

The movie was a 10 out of 10 but I read Irino Miyu Haku's VA from spirited away) voicing Yuta Okkostu, it was appointed his voice for Yuta, I was insanely hyped for him being Yuta then THEN MAPPA CHANGED IT TO SHINJI’S (I’m not mad at Megumi Ogata, I love her, one of the best VA’s in the industry) BUT I EXPECTED IRINO TO VOICE YUTAAAA, OR MAYBE SOMEONE LIKE YUKI KAJI (Eren Jeager’s VA) BUT MAPPA CHANGED IT all because the creator for Yuta was inspired by Shinji, also even this Irino has worked with Gojo’s VA. it was perfect, all planned out (again I love Megumi Ogata.)

Regarding Maki's HR, she does have a miniscule amount of the cursed energy which she shares with Mai, and her awakening after Mai's death is the moment when she completely breaks free from CE, and the difference in power between pre-awakened Maki and Toji is striking. Makes me wonder, what if Maki died instead of Mai. I know, that Mai has terrible mentality for a sorcerer and clearly did not want to be one, but would her CE amount be significantly larger? Since she also shared HR with Maki as a twin.

No he’s right, Makis heavenly restriction was basically incomplete. Yuki also said that Toji was the ONLY human who didn’t have a SINGLE drop of cursed energy which was what made him special and as strong as he was, she said this whilst talking to Geto. Their restrictions are similar, but not to the same level
