I use UVR 5 to seperate the instruments. And I'm afraid I don't have a lossless option.

The lead vocals, the harmonies, horns, keyboards, oboe, the lead guitar, the rhythm guitar sound too distorted and not crisp, thick, tight, and strong enough. Plus you can't really make out the plucking & strumming from the lead and rhythm guitar individually and the lead vocals and the harmonies are overlapped by the horns during the chorus. Plus the bass and drums don't sound tight, thick, and strong enough to be aligned with each other.

Are you saying these faults are unique to this new mix. Maybe you can post a link to a version of this 56 year old recording that doesn't suffer from the issues you mention. I've not been able to find one anywhere.

No I'm saying you should do another remaster and bring up the highs on some of the instruments that are faint in the background and have the vocals as well as the instrumentals be crisp so they cut through the mix better.
