Turure Watersteps (Cumaca Falls)- Trinidad and Tobago

The hike to turure watersteps begins along Cumaca Road. Often people park along the road or around the bridge. Ive even seen folks swiming in the river around the bridge.
The hike goes downhill initially and it gives the impression of being easy. After crossing the river you then evperience a steep uphill trek, from there it levels out and then you head downhill.
Upon arrival you meet tbe first drop. Then climbing that you meet the second drop. explore it, theres a few nice spots for pictures.
climbing the second step, you meet the most photographed spot, for some reason this area has a bright sandy look. Most people often head into the water. A climb up this step and you may be tempted to choose the pools as your spot to soak.
But it gets better. Head around the corner and you meet the large wall that makes another fall. There is a nice pool for bathing. Climbing that again and you meet another pool thats perfect for bathing.
You can explore further up, i did find one small crystal clear pool, but make sure you bring someone with you as im told there are snakes.
As usual, proper safety gear and a guide should be used.
