Wow! This is the best, the saddest and a very unique story that I have ever heard! It’s all your dad’s fault to start with. He should never force you to marry your ex-husband at the first place. And, he should let you divorce him when he abused you the first time then you could have been married to the American guy. But, at the same time, I’m glad you connected with him and his wife again and were able to attend his funeral at end of his life. That was the best thing for him and you, grandma!❤️I also very happy for you that you live a long happy,and healthy to see some many generations of grandchildren and great grandchildren in your life! I’m with you woman, I’ve been single for over 20 yrs.
