@@nejclaar sorry for the late reply! Ive just now seen your comment. This was mostly filmed in an area called Val D'Orcia. If you go during spring and early summer the fields have these nice colors!

Every time I visit Tuscany im like "oh ive climbed that church" or "I've jumped off that tower" 😂 Its crazy how much detail they put into AC2 🔥 The small town where I fly between those towers on the wall is Monteriggioni, the place where Ezios villa was 😁

Thank you so much! I was using the GoPro Hero 11. It offers 10-bit color which is amazing to work with. I might do a tutorial on how i edit colors in the future 👀

Thank you! Usually I do some research on the locations i intend to fly. I go on google maps a preplan flight routes that might look cool. Then I check certain spots or viewpoints with streetview and then choose one where I think I get the best signal from. When flying over a village im almost always outside the village (on a road or viewpoint) 😁

I know you said this is a GoPro, but this REALLY doesn't look like GoPro footage. I know you said you filmed it in 10-bit, and I'm sure you did a great job grading in an NLE, but there is something else that makes it magical. I'm not talking ND filter or other tricks. It looks like it legit came off a full-frame DSLR or cinema camera with good glass.

Hey! Sorry for the late reply, looks like i missed your comment. I appreciate your kind words. It is shot on gopro only. It took me a lot of time to colorgrade this video and it payed off 🤩 It is a combination of camera settings and editing that makes it look like it was shot on something bigger than a gopro 😁

@@lukeuphigh Yeah, great job. By the time I'm done with editing clips and getting my music/voiceovers just right I'm too tired to do any color grading, lol. I mean, all I'm starting with is 8-bit rec709 so it's not like I'm going to be pulling off any miracles anyway. Time for me to go watch 20 more color grading tutorials, lol!!!

Surprisingly i didnt crash a single time in Tuscany. But the flights I did were more calm and cinematic so not a lot of risks... when I go out and practice freestyle i crash a lot 😂

@@lukeuphighthe most important is to crash somewhere you'll always be able to find your drone. Cinematics flight over beautiful landscapes are less risky but one single crash could be the very last one😅

thank you so much! before each flight i check if there are any restrictions in that area. for the castle wall shot i met some nice police officers in that town and I asked if it was ok and they were fine with it. They were really interested in how these FPV drones work and were blown away by the footage 😁
