Elelophants have integrated humans into their invironment with varying degrees of success but as with most species there is the inevitable conflicts. Alarms have been sounded as their populations continue to plumet and their habitats simply vanish.
This is why park rangers exist, to try and protect both wildlife and the public from potential conflict and to reduce or eliminate any injury or harm. Maybe increases in patrols could prevent these kind of interactions. Those witnin within and who manage wilife refuges have to come up with more strategies to prevent these occurencies from happening altogether.
