Jack: "It's slow going because we just really got dumped on by rain today." Me: You all built a huge pond in one day, with the pumps, lighting and special effects. How is that slow? Other people have problems, they make excuses and don't do the job. You just did the job. I love it!

how did you resolve the water under the liner making the liner balloon up?
@Tusseylandscaping4 жыл бұрын
The water that got under the liner was just surface water that ran down under neath the pond liner, it wasnt actually high water table problems. So, being it was not a high water table, that water eventually drained away the next day.

@@Tusseylandscaping I am building a pond in my garden a factory building is at the back of my house and all i see is a stone wall. on the wall two guttering pipes poor water into my garden alot of water when I dug to 3 feet deep I hit alot of ground water. I suspect the factory is responsible for much of this water their is no drains to take the water away. Love what these guys do but what I never could understand, why do all that digging(which isnt that deep) to them put massive rocks in the pond that takes up so much of the space. Surely the pond needs to be at least 4 foot deep after adding all that material back in, with so much land mass to use as well
@Tusseylandscaping4 жыл бұрын
The pond was 3 feet deep, and we love using big boulders being it makes it look more natural, more like those big mountain streams, etc. So yes of course, we need to dig bigger holes :)

I have a 2 foot long petrified log. I’m having a problem drilling a hole for tubing for a small waterfall. Does anyone know what kind of drill bit to use? My husband bought me a Masson bit didn’t work. I’ve been told to use a diamond bit, I’ll try very soon. Please text me any information thanks 🙏
@Tusseylandscaping4 жыл бұрын
is it wood? or rock? If wood, just use a wood bit, that will work the best. A mason or diamond bit wont work on wood very well. If it's rock, use a diamond bit, and you must have a hammer drill to run it.

Why is it not recommended not to heat these type of ponds
@Tusseylandscaping4 жыл бұрын
These ponds are natural ecosystem ponds, so heating them would produce gobs of water quality issues.
