Appreciate the time you have used to help all of use these remarkable tools. I have straight looms and circular, just really needed to see someone do the stitches. Thanks so much.

so happy to have found a traditional pattern with texture vs straight stitches. Cant wait to try it! Thanks so much. Loved your written directions as well, that is a big help so I have a visual along side the oral and its much easier to comprehend.

Tuteate I am working on it now, how ever if I want to make it extra wide what do I do. I have followed the process for this size and I have switched colors every 12 inches, so if I want to then add an extra 12 inch row to it how would I join the 2 sides? Have a video on afghans possibly?

Yes! I have been looking for something like this with the buttons and the cross-over. I didn't know your tutorial would end with that, but I thought it would be fun to watch about cabling. Then BINGO! There was so much more! Thank you!

I'm working on this right now. Thank you for this simple no-frills tutorial. It's very easy to see what the teacher is doing unlike other similar videos with poor lighting or clumsy hand movement. I've written out the pattern for myself and refer to points in the video when I'm stuck. Subbing!

Elina Wolfman hi! The easiest way to add another color is to make a knot joining your current thread of yarn to the new one, and keep working. We take note of your request and we'll show how to add other colores in future videos.

Hello, your videos so much they are very easy to follow! I am currently making his scarf and I follow all the steps but no matter how tight I wrap and knit here is still a gap where the cable knitting and the regular pegs. When looking at yours I don't see a gap and I was Just wondering if you had any tips to fill the gap? Thank you! :)
@Tuteate
@Tuteate 9 жыл бұрын
+Deidre Lambert hi! Maybe your yarn is thinner than the one we are using? (we are using a yarn recommended for knitting needles of 6mm - 7mm). Or maybe the gap you see will disappear when you keep knitting and your cables get away from the loom...
@lambertdeidre

Love the channel and your tutorials. This one does leave me a little confused. Once the pegs are marked for the cables and you are wrapping the pegs it states to wrap the marked pegs twice - pull bottom loop over top on all pegs. Doesn't that leave two loops on the marked pegs? When you showed how to cross the loops it only looked like one loop on each peg. Did I miss something? - Sorry for the long question.
@rachelstakes6765
@rachelstakes6765 8 жыл бұрын
+Paul Stokinger Not sure if you still need the answer (It left me confused at first to), but when you take it off the marked pegs to switch them, it will end up as 1 loop, the double rap is to make it long enough to move to the other pegs.

Hi! Thank you for this video, it's very helpful for me since I'm a beginner. I was wondering if I can loom knit a larger cabled scarf, keeping the proportions on the pegs. Should I go with multiples of 6?

Can I just quickly ask how wide your scarf came out because you used twelve pegs? I got a loom as a gift I'm am trying to figure out how to use it since the written directions aren't helping much... Other than that, I've watched many of your tutorials and your works are beautifully crafted!

TsukiyoTenshi thank you so much :) Depending on how thick is your yarn, your work turns out wider or narrower. Here we used a yarn recommended for knitting needles of 6mm - 7mm and the scarf came out of 12cm in width

I tried several times to make the cables but the yarn was too taught. I'm making the scarf without the cables and it looks great. Would like very much to hear your voice instead of reading while I'm knitting.
