It’s a shame ppl always try and discount him, don’t ever mention him or act like he sucked compared to Starr. He’s a great person and a great bass player. Getting him in the band back in 93 was a fantastic decision and I’m glad he’s stuck around all these years, he clearly gets along well with the other members and he’s a great musician, hope he is the bassist as long as AiC is around, dude has always just seemed like a super nice gentle dude, need more people like him around
@chuckmcgill66734 жыл бұрын
@@puppetmaster8551 Starr was great during his time at aic,may he rip But Inez is just great too, he fits perfectly in the band,and two of my all time fav basslines from all of Aic songs are Rotten Apple and Stone,both by Inez.
@puppetmaster85514 жыл бұрын
Ajay Sharma ya I’m right there with you, Starr did a great job when he was in the band but Inez has kicked ass too and has done some great work in AiC, I think he’s the more skilled player but both of them were obviously good players. Glad they got Inez tho, great dude who seemed it fit in well and all these years later is still a part of the band.
@chuckmcgill66734 жыл бұрын
@@puppetmaster8551 Totally agree with you Even though my fav album of all time Dirt had starr and I have a massive respect for all of his Aic's work but I too think that Inez is technically better.He is probably in my top 10 fav bassist and probably 2nd fav from the grunge bands after DeLeo,if you count Stp as grunge.Inez might be very underrated but his works speks man former bassist for Ozzy contribution in 4 great Alice's albums especially bgwtb and tdpth which are two of my favs after dirt.Also a kickass ep jar of flies. Absolute Legend

Jerry is a marvelous guy and he always does excellent interviews.

Fun fact: The recording of him singing the riff has his lowest vocal note, D2 His highest note is that weird improv before "The Killer Is Me" from MTV Unplugged, Eb5.. so neither of his range ends are studio notes

It's been so long since I've written songs,like 30 or 40 of them, I'm from the old tape track days. But I remember transferring that stuff into digital so it could be mixed on a CD of a musician who moved from our home town metropolis. Cool to hear from fellow songwriters!
