@@w2blackpanther377 Howdy, glad you asked, no I wouldn't say sociology is hard, my tips: Make sure you always volunteer to answer questions. Make sure you always ask the teacher to explain anything you don't understand, as many times as it takes, who cares if your class mates sigh at the situation, you shouldn't. Make sure you revise the content you covered in class the same day and following days, last minute revision isn't possible, there's too many minute details for cramming to work (not to mention cramming is scientifically proven to be the most ineffective method of revision, 20 mins a day every day being the best, yes that's right, as little as 20!) To summarise, I highly recommend sociology, it's applicable to real life (it's come in handy in countless situations), it's fun, you cover moral quandaries that you otherwise take for granted and don't question, it's not a hard subject, it's not a breeze either, pay attention, ask questions, revise, you'll get a grade 9.

he stated interationists prefer quantitative data instead of qualitative. if anyone is confused as to which one it is (as on the powerpoint it says qualitative), the power point is correct. interactionists, as a mirco approach, prefer using methods that produce qualitative data such as unstructured or semi-structured interviews as it offers a chance for open ended questions that can help to provide more detailed data. this would be chosen over, for example, questionnaires due to the fact that questionnaires typically provide closed ended questions, but they can ask open ended questions too. using the micro approach it is important that they collate qualitative data as they are specifically looking for causes of things, such as why do we adopt our labels and who is most likely to reject them and why, which requires in depth detail of the student.
