Thank you. I was wanting to customize my cars android Home Screen. I had no idea it would be this confusing or so incredibly invasive requiring access to EVERYTHING? I’ll just put up with what I have.

Thank you for posting this but I have a question. At 21:30, what are the green dashes on the left side of the center circle next to the "skip back" button? I have those on my screen as well and I can't figure out what they are for. I saw another video where the entire circle had the dashes.

Hello, green dashes - sound volume. Unfortunately, not all radios support sound volume display. See the built-in help for more info.

@@denisv4384Thank you Denis, I must have missed that in the help screen. One more question. Do you plan on adding Waze support? I know a lot of people have asked for it. Lastly, could you give us a choice of either letter OR degrees number in the compass display? I would prefer a large letter like "N" or "W" rather than "270°". Agama has the large letter and it is much easier to read on smaller screen. Thanks again.

CWG (i have the PRO version) is very stable on my various Chinese Android car radio's. With PRO you also are able to import/export themes easily as i make my on my PC in LDPlayer, a Android Virtual Machine. I still hope they will make the buildin music player more Car orientated ( Bigger buttons and simplified layout , easier to get back to the homescreen etc.) I have multiple car frontends (most the paid versions) but i keep circling back to CWG.

Ive been looking for something like this for years. Can you do a Tutorial on how to design a theme yourself? Id love to have a theme that fits the old screen aesthetic of the 80s and 90s so an android radio coul stylisticly fit into an older car

Hello, try to use theme "Captain 2". There is a built-in theme designer that allows you to create simple themes. Complex dynamic themes are created only through me. If you have an idea for an interesting theme, contact me on telegram @toden

Great tutorial. I have a question that I think I know the answer to, but maybe you could confirm. My head unit has a climate control panel at the bottom of the screen that is always present. The color scheme is awful and I've been trying to figure out how to do that. Will this launcher modify the colors or does it only modify the home screen graphics?

I have the pro version and the map covers the entire background of the "Rummer" interface when I open it. Any ideas on how to remove the map from the background?? Secondly, the music player doesnt work. I try a 3rd party player but the music stops when i return to the CWG interface. Same with the radio

What was missing in the musical part, the user cannot choose the ascending or descending song in letters A-Z, that is, alphabetical order, is there a way to do it the way I said?

In the future, it is planned to improve the built-in player. Now if you need other functions, try using a third-party player (selection - long click on the play button)

You can create you own PNG images and put to the special CWG folder. See help file for more info

I have done everything right but when i start engine always asking launcher option and not starting with Carwebguru ..I have to start manually all the time..is there any possiblilty Carweb guru launcher to set it up default ?

GPS speed and internal "dashboard" speed - may vary. This is not a bug. internal "dashboard" speed is calculated by sensors in the car and depends on the size of the wheels and even the firmware. External GPS speed is calculated based on GPS satellites and does not depend on the size of wheels or rims. I think that police radars will show a speed similar to GPS speed.

Great video well explained 👏❤...how to get a video player or widget to play videos.. when you click on time u get the simple screen in that at the bottom you find music icon but it's for videos but doesn't work.. Also when you click on the radio short cut it goes to the radio screen and when click on the back button it doesn't work. So when I click on the home button it works but CWG is loading it doesn't come to the interface quick is there a setting for that...hope u understand my question...

We need to see the Music Player...EQ, fader, DPS settings..not just a list of songs. A radio, music player is it's PRIMARY PURPOSE, please show the people who value music the reason to run this, and focuse on the versatility of music,... not the bloated stuff.

CWG used free weather service "open weather", and sometime it may not worked. weather need: internet + valid location + pro version (or you own API weather key)

@denisv4384 I finally figured it out... it is not very explanatory and requires you to have to have the pro version. I may look for an app that will allow me to use a widget because the Weather Channel widgets do not show up widget because after all of that to get it to work the weather isn't even correct it's like almost 5° off in either direction... and that's after setting all the location and GPS and all I'm adding in my direct location. But I had figured it out thank you
