Hi Shubha, I am 77 yr old. Had learnt music in my younger days but then gave it up after I joined Medical School. Now after retirement I'm hoping to get back into singing again. Your teaching methods reminded me of the 'paltas' my Guruji (Gunigandharva Pt. Laxman Prasad Jaipurwale) used to make me do. He used to call SNS as Kann and SRS Avkann and make combinations of these.

Yes, it's better to work with your stomach voice for Aakar... stomach voice is much more stable and hence Aakar will sound stable. Chest voice is okay too but Aakar in head voice should only be used occasionally if needed
