glad you enjoyed it! Yeah totally, you can download that websocket repo and run it locally. There's also a built in websocket server built into the webserver DAT that you can use

Hey it seems that Heroku erased their free plan, is it possible to do the same with github pages??

It looks like dashboard.render.com/ offers a free service. I was able to get it up and running for free using a new Web Service and following similar steps to heroku. For future vids I'll use that. Another option is that there's a socket server built into the Webserver Dat that's possible to run locally, although you can only control TD on the same wifi if you go that route.
