I was able to parameterize the substrate thickness and permittivity, and the default variables can be accessed in schematic views of every cell. However, it seems that the parameterized substrate thickness in the layout view of any given cell is reduced to zero. In the layout view, the parameterized substrate is being flattened. The same thing happens if the conductor traces are parameterized, and conductors are being shown in layout as surfaces with no thickness. What is it that I am getting wrong?

Hello Sir, There is a strange thing happened to me while I was working with parametric design as you told in this video. When I created schematic and defined it as default I could not perform any parametric simulation in the schematic (Even though for a standard circuit), It said that ‘SP1 is not found for ParamSweep component’ even though Simulation Instance Name is correct and it works fine when I do not define that schematic cell as default. What should I do about it? Thank you very much

HI, I am not sure what defaults design has to do with SP1 simulator? Defaults designs are only supposed to contain the variables that you want to use. Did you place SP1 inside defaults design by any chance? If yes, that's the error. SP1 should be on the same design as your Parameter Sweep else it won't find it and you will get this error.

Dear ı am generating the symbolic model of four antenna array and then copying ıt in schematic. after applying port termantion it gives me straight line of s11 which is wrong. could you please give me some guidence.my main aim is to simulate symbolic model in schematics thanks. just you described ın tutorial number 35 in last 5 mınutes

make sure you click on Choose View for Simulation icon, near Simulate icon and select emmodel as the view and then simulate. It should be proper.
