Thank you so much for explaining and even reiterating the WHY of what you were doing. So many tutorials I've seen consist of just "do this, then do this, then this," without giving any reason whatsoever for doing so, which doesn't really impart any knowledge.

Quick question: Is there any way to clean up the Cleanplate Clip dropdown list? I've tried this a couple of times (with some errors along the way) but these old created cleanplates are just gathering up, even after deleting the files related to it, and deleting caches for Mocha.

Is this available in Hitfilm Ultimate 2 or is it a separate program?

mocha Pro with the Remove Module is a stand alone application. But, HitFilm owners can use the discounted upgrade path if they want to purchase mocha Pro!

When I bring the background layer below my foreground layer, the foreground shapes are still a part the background shape matte, rather than having the foreground shapes subtract from the background shape. Anyone know why this could be happening?? It's driving me insane... Edit: The "view mattes" button was set to all mattes, not track mattes *facepalm* Hopefully this helps someone else with a similar issue.
