Big notice about vulkan mode is that it works better on lower end pc/laptop including using the new mirror model for the t series which tanks little bit of your fps on normal mode whilst the vulkan increase it's fps decently

How do you set your car to automatic? I can't do manual

Tapping the Q key will switch between manual and automatic.

Use the R key or sometimes you have to use CTRL-R. If you have multiple vehicles spawned in, you may need to use SHIFT-R to reset them all at once.

Sitting in the driver's seat, can you control the steering wheel with the mouse. The mouse is so much smoother steering (more natural) than with the A & D key bindings. Which to me is jerky.

Yes. You can go to OPTIONS and BINDINGS and use the mouse for steering!

I don’t believe you can actually drive the parked ones. They are seriously limited spawns so that they don’t bog down the computer.

How does this game work using a controller seeing all the options to use in game seems like it's to much for gamepad to handle? was thinking of getting this for some chill couch gaming i have access to wireless mouse and keyboard so i guess that should be enough for all the tiny options here and there.

You can use a controller for a lot of the general driving and camera options, but yeah, definitely still need a keyboard for some things. Though, they are working to improve controller support. You can actually get to a lot of the menus just using a controller.

How do you spawn a car while in free cam

In free cam, hit ESC, then Choose the Vehicle selector, pick a new vehicle, then make sure you choose SPAWN NEW and it will spawn next to/near the camera location.

It’s worth $59, even in early access. Endless sandbox playability, open mods, great built-in campaigns, scenarios, and world editor for customization. Definitely worth $25 from my perspective anyway.

Your AI spawned in FAST ... I have a I5 12400f and it takes my AI about 20 seconds to spawn in about 8-10 cars. What CPU you have that made your AI spawn in instantly? Or did you trim it out?

Definitely an edit there! Like you, takes about 15-20 seconds to spawn traffic into the game (ryzen 7 3700x).
