Tutorial: Cutting Miniature Roof Shingle Angles

Cutting the correct shingle angle on a dollhouse or miniature house roof can be a little tricky. Here's a simple technique to cut correct angles in shingles on a miniature structure everytime.

I use a sliding bevel carpenters tool but I guess your way would work ok if you don't have one.

I have used a sliding bevel tool on projects that are larger than this one. I find it much easier using these tiny shingles to work it out quickly with this little geometry trick.

No you wouldn’t. That would take longer, you wouldn’t get a precise fit, and you’d waste a lot of shingles: His way is better.
