Won't the string that's around that one bead break if the child is sucking on it?

Hi Jennifer! Great question! We have had this soother clip method tested by an FDA approved, official testing company to ensure it meets all safety standards for North American requirements and it has passed! With careful attention to how it is put together and with appropriate product safety testing, the method should ensure that the string is unable to break. Multiple knots also support this. The recommended length for a pacifier clip in the US is 6-8" for compliance standards. Ensure the length of your final item is no longer than 8", including the clip and cord.
