Wow! Great tutorial: No prattling, no dreadful music, 'no fancy technique'. Brilliantly demonstrated by an artist with a great British accent. Superb. I've subscribed. Thank you.

Very imaginative! I'm one who looks at those pictures with empty middles and thinks "No way!" I'm just glad that the tutorials I watch provide the colors to use. Anyway.....that was really fun. NO, it's not perfect but I just kept going over and over on the colors and they blended. The fun is in the gel pens! Thanks much...I'm following you.

I know it shouldn't matter but it would have been awesome if you gave the color numbers for people starting out with prismacolor. Prismacolor is a lot different to work with than normal colored pencils which is what I was using. I can get a better feel for being able to color with you so you I can make sure of the highlights and be used as a reference point. then branch out to different colors

Claire how do you keep the pen from turning the same color of the underneath? I use the signo uni-ball and about 30 minutes later its a lighter shade of the pencil. it never stays bright white
@ColourwithClaire8 жыл бұрын
I use a Uniball Signo UM-153, I do have to go over it when dry a few times if the colour keeps showing through x
@quentinakalkofen52538 жыл бұрын
Ok I have to do the same thing thank you for your teply
@NoDontLikeIt7 жыл бұрын
Quentina Kalkofen also, keep your pen nib clean. I color a bit and then clean my pen nib with a paper towel and/or scribble a bit on a piece of scratch paper, color a bit more and wipe the nib or scribble a bit on a clean scratch paper. That will help a lot to keep your white bright--don't let it pick up too much color before you clean your pen nib. Hope that's a helpful hint for you. :)
@ColourwithClaire7 жыл бұрын
+Quentina Kalkofen Let it dry and apply again... and again if need be!
