Awesome tutorial. I agree totally. Terjeio is doing great work. Am using Phil-Barrett Teensy based board controller. Loving it.

thanks for sharing, very useful, but how do you manage the tool probe wiring, what about the positive cable? assuming the negative goes by the grounding
@stefanbauer599 Жыл бұрын
The whole machine is connected to GND. This includes the spindle and the milling cutter or, in this case, the clamped pin. In this case, the workpiece is connected to the probe pin. This means that a signal is generated when it is touched. You can guess it from the yellow cable in the video.

Hi Stefan i fallow exact numbers and sitting what you showed on KZbin unfortunately doesn’t work the way it should be , when i press start took few second then start instated of prob touch the plate and retract back and move to y axis doesn’t stop start pushing plate for 10mm then stop and move to y axis and does the same thing on y is there need any more setting or not also has got long delay on every single operation

Hi Vigen, The only thing I can imagine is that when the touch plate is pushed away, the probe pin has no electrical contact and is not activated. Does the P box at the bottom left light up when the probe contact is made?

4:52 shows you how to do just a simple Z height adjustment.

If this is a question, yes the part in the video shows how you can make a simple Z height adjustment, that is correct.

Amazing... Thank you for such a detailed tutorial. Can we have portable or executable form of "iosender". So we may use it directly. As of now it is in the form of source code.

The executable form of "iosender" can be found here (click on release): github.com/terjeio/ioSender/blob/master/changelog.md You can find edge versions here: www.io-engineering.com/downloads/
