Add anger marks, tears, and other effects with Vroid models using Unity!

Thank you very much, i don't like the default angry expression it has the mouth open, when i get time I'll use this to fix that and i want an expression for freaked out because surprised doesn't cover that. Soon I'll use more power to regrow my tail blown off by a plasma rifle and breathe life back into it using this information if i can make it work that is.

Very helpful, thank you! I was wondering if you had/ was going to make a tutorial fixing the blendshapes on the Vroid models. When doing certain things like "oh" or "ee" in vseeface, you get a huge white ball under the throat. Is that just the program?

hey, i just managed to set up some VRM to do texture show/hide with the blend shapes ^^ is there a free program that can toggle those like Luppet?

Important note to all from VRCHAT : This tutorial does not add the items to blendshapes for vrchat, it is ONLY for webcam stuff, they will never show ingame.. sorry. Instead invest in learning blender. Or pay someone to do so.

Hey Argama. I am trying to create new expressions and I was wondering - do you know a possibility to change the color of the eyewhite for a specific blendshape only?

yeah like these, whenyou go into materials youwill select the part you want to change, in the drop down select color, and you can change the color there

Hey Argama, thanks so much for your tutorials. Do you know if it's possible to export the expression marks as OBJ files and attach them to an already-exported model in Unity? I've changed my model significantly outside of VRoid so can't just re-export and go from there, so if there's a way to do something like this without having the expressions attached to a model in VRoid it'd be great.

You can make two different sets of cat ears, one up and one down. Each has to have their own textures and then switch between the two. I did something like that in the furry speed art video to give you an idea

So I need help here, idk if you did it once but this is a issue I'm having. I went to unity and added new facial expressions where the "A", "I", "E", "U", and "O" and added new Blendshapes for the model. When I export it, the expressions don't show at all. (Idk if you used mmd before but I used mmd and placed the model as a pmx more and however don't see none of the expressions I made there, if you have any clue if this, please help me🤦🏿‍♀)

you would have to make different ears with different textures to switch between them

Is there a way to add materials to the drop down list under blendshapes after the fact or can you only use and edit materials that are already there? I made a capsule shape in unity to use for a magic effect instead of going back to Vroid to add a hair for it.. (so I didn't have to redo all the stuff I did already in unity) and the objects there, it's got a material, and everything looks good, but it's not showing up in the blendshapes material list and I have no clue why. x_x

And here I am with another problem lol I had to edit my character in unity to add glasses and claws. I can't edit him in Vroid anymore because of that. Is there any way for me to add the anger symbol to another model and mix them in unity so I don't have to add every single claw again? x_x

Yeah, you can add a new plane and add a texture to it. (As seen in my motion to textures video) but you may need to export it and reimport it to turn the texture on and off. as it wont show up in the texture folder on the material tab. It may work if its added in the prefab however.

is there a way to import a BlendShapeClip like a preset? Something went wrong with my save and now none of my clips saved to the VRM ;c like when i apply one the other vanishes jksdljfkds and i see them, they're files but I can't add them to the base folder (if that makes sense)

Yes, but its a much much more advanced technique that would be hard to explain in text, but ultimately you would make multiple face layers, put them next to each other and in unity switch out the textures, and adjust the coordinates. This lets you change coordinates in the blendshapes.

Not really, because you cant have two active skin layers, vroid merges them
