You're last 423 looks so very 423. I've always argued that most 423's don't even look like the siteswap throws of a 4 and a 2 and a 3. Also, I cant believe you kept working on more 423's after having posted your May 23 vid of about 50 something 423 patterns. You so Rock. You are a true 3b Jedi indeed.

Ooh the 3rd and 4th tricks look fun, I shall give them a try sometime! And that last trick is one of my faves too! Although I never really thought of it as a 423 variation - I discovered it by screwing around with the Boston mess!

@jefflutkus That is a great suggestion! The thought has crossed my mind before, but I guess I forget to follow through when it comes time to make a new tutorial, haha. I will make sure to do that next time! Thanks

hey steve, thx for the tutorial! It's awesome and helped me a lot. bu I've got some thoughts to the first 2 patterns. I've found it way easier to learn the first one from a cold start after doing the 2 ball exercise and when I wanted to do the 2 one it really helped to think of it as an flase mess variation. I hope that helps other jugglers out there as well. Happy juggling

@georgepowell I prefer my home-made russian balls, but as you can see, the sil-x implosion balls look totally awesome and are totally juggle-able. Yes, I recommend them. Play makes the BEST props!!

Suggestion from a lazy viewer: you might want to show the tricks you plan on teaching near the beginning of the video. That way, potential viewers can easily see what the tricks look like, and decide how interested they are in learning without having to watch the whole video. That said, nice video... the world needs more juggling tutorials like this one.

@georgepowell I think home-made play-pit russians are awesome.. but, yeah, maybe it's just because I'm so used to them.. Stage balls, mmx balls, sil-x balls, all have the disadvantage of bouncing off of each other a LOT from collisions. And they roll away. It's easier to recover from collisions with russians, and they don't roll away as much, BUT they still DO have the advantage of being a solid ball (not a floppy beanbag) ..it's really about personal preference but I'd say go with russian

steve! you are travelling into dangerous territories! 3 balls lowers your life expectancy! i liked the columns 423 with 4 underarm caught, i'd never tried that before. very cool :) there's more to be done here. you should dedicate some of your time to factory and box variations, but also with underarm 2's and 4's. there's a lot of fruitful tricks to be found in those patterns :) j oh and nice sil-x implosions :P

@ksjuggles They are Sil-x implosion balls made by Play juggling in Italy... check your local prop vendor... I got mine from the WJF store...

@Draitube oh don't you worry, I've been working on a lot of factory and box variations too! I still can't get the damn upside-down box though! That trick is impossible for me.

@MrJugglr The implosions feel like stage balls. Maybe better for balance/stalls than a normal stage ball, but they are basically stage balls. They look amazing and are great for juggling, but they don't feel anything like russians. I still prefer russians, but I HAD to get some implosions just because they look so damn cool.

@JugglingTricks Ha they do look amazing.... I most likely will be getting some NaCl Russian Balls Which I think will be interesting... Seeing as you can adjust the weight. Ill let you know how it goes with the plugs, hope they don't leak =/

Wow these tricks are so cool! It seems like I haven't been learning as much (or trying to learn as much) as I used too, so this was a refreshing tutorial! I know everyone is asking... How are the new Sil-x implosions? I really am looking for higher quality (russian kinda feel) maybe something different... I already have Sportco... but the home made russians go fast... the kind I ordered have a seem in the middle of the ball, that splits open after like 2 weeks =/ Suggestions would be nice =]

Some of the 423's we not so pronounced when you get into the cross armed position, looks more like a 443 or cross armed W pattern on a few. But regardless nice tutorial man.
