@ThePieFairy918 ай бұрын
Aw, sorry to hear this darling. The hair is so hard to manage when disability comes along. In my experience, self care took a backseat and fell off the wagon when chronic illness stepped in. Caring for everything and everyone else is a priority as a mom, pet owner, good employee, etc. Before I knew it I couldn't remember the last time I brushed my hair, let alone washed it. And who the heck is that old lady in the mirror?? I implore you to pamper yourself in some way today, my dear. Include your daughter if it helps!

For even longer hair, silk/satin scarves tied together at the top work great, and are easier to get out because the nice slippery texture.

I was just thinking this!!! I prefer to keep silk or satin in contact w my hair, and if I'm doing heatless curls to sleep in a bonnet ad I toss and turn. Though my hair is currently just oast my shoulder blades.

I’m wondering if they stay in as easily due to that slippery texture? I’m sure it’d cut down on the frizz majorly..

@@Munchkinzi Seriously lol. Mine’s around waist length but I still can’t find legit long hair tutorials that aren’t historic hairstyles (which can look good tho).
@Munchkinzi Жыл бұрын
@peggedyourdad9560 I'll have to link you a few 😄 Morgan Donner had done a few when hers was thigh length like mine too... though again, yes, medieval/victorian styles mainly... For me daily, I usually use hair sticks/combs to tie mine out of the way, as I'm a woodworker, but I love crazy different designs. I've just untangled 14 days of plaits and rune beads for a good scrub after a long day of laying slabs for my friend's garden.... I'm starting to think I should start my own KZbin channel 😅😅😅 Sammi

Keep doing what ever it is you’re inspired to do; you are so genuine and relatable and I could watch some of the shorts on a loop and instantly be infused with joy for the rest of the day. Metalsmithing is my thing, not hair, but the KZbin algorhythms hit this one out of the park by putting your channel in my recommended channels feed. Well done! 🎉

Thank you so much for uploading this first video. Great job - it feels natural and friendly to watch and listen to. It’s a really cool technique so I might try this tonight! Also, I must thank you for talking with no fast paced music playing at the same time. Lots of KZbinrs teach cooking, crafts, painting, hairstyles etc. with crazy music playing loudly and turn it up and down depending on when they’re talking. This causes painful brain problems in some people with neurological disorders and we have to switch off. It’s something that happens when human voice is competing with music, disco or drums, guitar etc. The dizziness and nausea is painful. So huge congrats and I’m hoping for more gentle videos to watch with your gorgeous hair as the star! I’ve been watching the shorts for quite a while now and love the medieval looks, the outfits and hair are so wonderful. Blessings ❤

Beautiful hair and young lady. I am 64 and was blessed with thick but fine hair, plenty of it. That trait was passed to my 3 kids, my daughter especially- I let her hair grow, then spiral curls came in style and she was all hair and curls, super cute to her waist. She’s 43 now, healthcare provider and all I see is her in scrubs and a thick messy bun. My hair is platinum, below the shoulders and it is thinning. Sure, I added extensions for volume and the salon can create beautiful styles. At what age are you supposed to just cut it, back comb or tease it into an old lady helmet head? I don’t care, I wind it all up into a messy bun. 😂
