Hi Lauras. This afternoon I plucked up the courage and made it I had done the cover and spine ages ago well it feels like ages ago. My daughter and grand children were due to come but couldn't so i had an undisturbed few hours and now all the pages are in it. Tomorrow I will start looking for decorations and papers. A BIG tip to first timers try not to work black on black in anything but daylight, I have a what should be a daylight lamp and it was murder. PLEASE ANYONE OUT THERE WITH ANY FEAR OR DOUBTS TAKE THE PLUNGE. I am so glad i did if you follow this tutorial you wont go wrong. Thank so much for sharing this with us. Hi Laura just finished the second album well the skeleton of it. Can you please tel me the difference between an album and journal please? I know you put photos in one and notes in the other but is the basic putting together the same? Thank you for this tutorial I now going too add a few pockets and decorate the cover inside and out and let the children decide what they want to fill it with. Now off to find my 3rd one. They are so much fun to make and at the end you feel like you have accomplished something nice. Hugs and Luvs xxx

Honestly I'm not sure of the difference other than adding photos or writing. You can pretty much make it your own either way. My advice would be to let you imagination run free and make the photo album or journal however you want. I would say that if you're making an album just for journaling you wouldn't need 1/2 gusset like you do with adding photos. Hope this helps❤
