Disgusted by that pricing from Heroforge. Really cool concept but I feel like there should be a one time fee. $7.99 per mini that's just digital is awful.

agreed i would be willing to pay 30 dollars as a one time purchase maybe even 60 !But 7 dollars for one mini or 20 dollars a month for 5 minis is still gross!

The reason that it’s so expensive is because the file is compatible with 3d printers

@@mashsl9778 not to mention the fact that heroforge adds new content every week. But I guess a company doesn't need to make money. Its not like a custom mini wouldn't cost 5 times that generally.

@@mashsl9778 well...they make you link your accounts, so it’s not a usual drag and drop a downloaded file. As that is the case: they should just have a “talespire only” option. This is because, again, you connect accounts and they allow the use of the minis.

I think it'd be great if HeroForge minis could be animated. They're obviously rigged since they can be posed, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that they could be animated with idles, attacks, etc.

This is great! I have a question, how do you do that slow zoom in 3:10 ? Is it an edit? Because I try to do it in camera mode, and it goes superfast. Thanks :D

Hi John! Sorry for the delay! Actually, I use a software called Cheat Engine, which has a "Speed Changer" feature. I use that to slow down the game to 0.05x speed, which allows me to maneuver my camera with great control!

The price is OUTRAGEOUS though ! HeroForge is not even excellent as far as character creation goes, but because it is one of the only one "specialized" in minis, they charge extra. Absolutely insane and disrespectful to the community imo. I know artists have to pay their taxes, I am one, but this is just crazy. I think they should have a one time fee, like 20$ to unlock digital minis, and that's it, like a game you buy. And that would still be a lot for such little content HeroForge has.

I also wish it was cheaper. Eventually, there will be a mini-builder built into TaleSpire, but that will take a lot of time, and HeroForge integration was one of the most in-demand requests, and they did inform us in advance that we'd have to buy HeroForge's minis. In the meantime, the devs at TaleSpire have no influence on how HeroForge chooses to price their products. But in the end, HeroForge is the only mini-maker that I'm aware of that has built in painting capabilities. So any other partner would've resulted in a bunch of grey minis. Again, I agree that I'd like it to be cheaper but, in the end, HeroForge has the largest fanbase and is the only company that has invested in coloring, and in the end, their product is quite premium. So I can't think of any other options for BouncyRock devs. Again, I agree with you-- but I want to also agreed light on the reasons behind the choice. In the end, I've happily used the huge included mini library in TaleSpire long before HeroForge was a consideration, and now that I've added the party I want, I'll be good for a while. But when you want to make every single Monster and NPC, it definitely becomes a major challenge....

@@BrotherHanan Of course I'm not blaming TaleSpire ! But HeroForge being the only mini builder shouldn't justify the outrageous cost imo. It just shows how greedy they are and don't actually care about their community, and I think it's sad really. Their other option would have been to have a free or cheap option for the Digital versions, because it costs practically nothing to them in the long run. And yeah, can't wait for TaleSpire mini creation but it's indeed gonna be in a looong while.

I do agree 100% with you, paying 8 bucks for such things is dishonest. I'll be glad to pay 20 more for the base game and have an editor or creator tool inside the game itself...

I agree. No harm in there being a charge of some kind. But it is a bit over the top. Especially if for a DM if they want to design multiple characters

This is awesome, but I wish they let us just upload them somehow... we use talespire as a live battle board IRL with the DM moving the pieces. It's a shame my players cant just make a character and send me a file.

I would really like to know this as well. I'm a DM using Talespire, and a player has made his character via HeroForge 3D Digital download. But I can't for the life of me seem to figure out how to get it in there. The ones I made myself seem to work tho.

@@DanielMyrvang As far as I've been able to tell there isnt a way to. What my group have done is send a share link of our mini to the dm, and a bit of money for a premium subscription to hero forge, which gives you 5 free digital downloads a month, and the DM has gotten the mini on their account that way.

Thats before the 3d Mini is purchased? So its just the 'draft', then the DM does the purchased via the pro Subscription? Thanks for reply :)

@@DanielMyrvang Yep, the player makes the mini, then there's a share link you can get and send to the DM who can then buy it themselves, which should add it into talespire. Player dosent need to pay for anything on their end. Glad i could help : )

Question! When you buy the 3D Digital for $7.99 the heroes that you created can be imported to Talespire? or just the ones from hero forge's store (I didn't get that)

Hi Arcade! You'll be able to upload your own minis that you designed right into TaleSpire. But to be clear, you have to buy each mini individually. Did I understand you correctly?

Jup and not just a littel talespire is about 25$ that means you get about 6minis for the same price as the whole game itself... Completly ridiculous. For physical minis I understand this high prices but Digital data... Nah i rather play with the talespire minis for this price.

i wish you could to 10 credits a month its still pricey but definitely worth it, running phandelver at the moment
