Tried this tonight... 1. You can get sheets printed at Staples for $2. I recommend seeing how the colors print (too dark, too light). Also - you can only print custom art, not copyright art. 2. Very thin paint tape is best. Peel quick before it starts drying. 3. You can get the same kind of paint at Michaels for cheaper. It's called Testors white enamel gloss. That's all I got so far...seems to work after some practice runs.

How do get the hole pattern so visible ? Whenever i try this the holo pattern gets very muted. Tried a various different transparency papers etc. Is it a thing you do in photoshop perhaps ?

@@MACMAT He is using an average home printer here. I use an expensive work laser printer , so dont think its that. Funny enough the holo pattern are much more notisable on camera when i film it 😅

@@MACMAT You need transparency paper ment for laser printers. The one i use at work is like 3k and the quality is exellent. I thinks this is down to either some PS setting, better transparency paper or its just on camera the holo pattern is showing clearly for this guy

The holo pattern of my proxy cards looks better in real life than in the video. And my Printer is the best! I tested many Printers. I can´t say what is your problem, maybe the Image, Printer, Paper or all of them.

You should only use white paint that does not attack the surface of the print. Revell Color is perfect for this. If you want to paint the card with a different material, just test it.

Hallo PlayingPan, die raue Seite wird bemalt. Die Karten werden spiegelverkehrt gedruckt, dadurch ist die Glatte Seite dann außen und schützt den Druck. Man kann dann sogar die fertige Karte Reinigen.

Is your transparent paper also printable? Have you print the correct side? My paper have a printable side and one unprintable side. If I print the paper with the wrong side, then I can also wipe away the color.

I tried printing just the outline of what I wanted white and cutting it out and then you face the problem of how to apply it. So I tried sticker paper and everything I could think of and the sticky is able to be seen as random splotches and the parts that shouldn't be holo. This method he uses is the only one that works good.
