I've just brought an air brush. Never used one before and I'm trying to learn as much as possible before endeavouring on my first project. I've found this series of videos and your techniques particularly helpful. Very easy to follow. I imagine I'll have them play alongside me as a step by step on my first attempts. So thank you. could you please recommend anymore videos for a strict novice? Thanks again

Com Art! Golden! Those are nice. I love Golden products. Com Art is amazing for illustration because you can actually erase it with an eraser. great for painting on canvas, paper etc. Then you have the issue of whether you use opaque or transparent. I assume you want transparent for any kind of multi-layered look. Opaque would cover too much, I assume. Opaque.... why are you saying "opayick"? Nice vid, btw!

Great tutorial bud and very well explained btw who makes the bust I want to paint it too 😊 thanks for sharing cheers 🍻

The bust is called 'Alex the Vampyre', by an extremely talented man, Mike Elizalde, founder of the FX company 'Spectral Motion'. The bust is very old, Mike created it as part of an on going (ended) line of resin kits. Partner to the 'Alex' piece is a cool Werewolf piece called 'Boris the Werewolf'. To my knowledge, of which could be utterly incorrect, the only way to get hold of these now is on the 2nd hand/collectors market or as a re-cast knock off, either way, tricky to find & costly. Have a look on line with some of the info I have offered, there are lots of interviews, images, etc. Check out 'Gremlins in the Garage' for a great old school interview with Mike ;-)

The figure used in the video is called Alex the Vampire. It was produced by a company called Spectral Motion years ago and is long out of production. You can find it periodically on evilBay. Please do not buy the recast version though. Thank you all for watching the videos. If you’re interested in this kind of model, come join “Resin Maniacs Board” on Face Book.
