I am currently in Nail Tech school but your website only sells to license techs. Are a students supposed to learn if we can't get access to the products?

But from my understanding you have products to work with in cosmetology school and then when you get your license you can start trying out different brands. So what I understand, all serious brands only sell to professionals?

Fatouma Sahili The only way I can get striping tape to stay is to put a layer of builder gel on top of it, then gel top coat. I use soak off builder gel, but you can use hard gel too. Also make sure that the edges of the tape don't go to the very edge of your nail, allow a small margin so it can't lift easily from the edge. Make sure it's really well stuck down at the edges. If the edges are lifting before you put gel on top, you've got no hope of it lasting. Ditch that bit of striping tape and cut another piece. Then builder gel, then top coat. Hope that helps 😊

Working tape on tips is great, but not on natural nails.

Celina Rydén If there is finger around the nail, you sure dont file, twist and cut as easy as on tips, so I feel a little kidded by the title. And by the finished Design too. Shinny tape on matte black looks great. But just cause it's not sealed. Not wearable.

I have to disagree with you. Every single step I do in this video is exactly what I do on my clients and I never have problems with the striping tape coming off. As I've shown in the video, it's important to Ct the tape so it doesn't stick outside the nail and the seal it with 1-step or some other low viscosity gel. After that you either do shine (Super Shiny) or matte (Flat Matte). I always file the sides to make sure that the tape is nice and flat. Don't know what mean by "not sealed" though, in this video I do one layer of 1-step and then Flat Matte which is a matte gel top coat. As I said, this is exactly as how I would do it on one of my clients.
