I'm not sure off the top of my head. But you don't need any extra to build them, but 3 batteries to fire them.

When i go to operate my weapons, my resources hit their cap. Then, when i go to reconstruct armour, it disappears almost instantly. I need more reserves. I dont know how i could follow your advice on this.

Well as you can see in the video it works. Not sure what to tell you. I've never heard of armor disappearing though. Seems like a bug.

Group them together. Hold control and click on the weapons (of the same type) to select them, then while holding control, press 1 to put those to a group. Then hit 1 and fire :)
