Tutorial: How to create a folding mini album

American measurements: Cardboard = all from a 12x 6 1/2 inch strip. You will have a smidge left over. Cut the strip at 2 inches, 2 1/2 inches, 3 1/8 inches, 1 3/8 inches, 1 1/8 inch. Cover patterned paper (pp) cut 12x 61/2 inch. I also cut several 1/8 inch strips of cardboard to help me line up the actual cardboard pieces as spacers. Place the cardboard pieces in the following order: 2 1/2, 1 3/8, 3 1/8, 1 1/8, 2 inches.The pages are cut from double sided pp at 6 1/4 x 4 inches.

Hi. I made your mini album for my sister for Christmas of our family trip to Disney. I tried to use a magnet strip but it wasn't very good. so I took a magnet clasp of a handbag and used that and it works perfect. thanks for the tutorial. I love it. it's so easy to follow

Sunny Chen - I can't answer Your comment directly so I must add another comment. Hope You will find it. Yes, sure. You can use any scrapbook paper You want. It's just what I had at mu studio then. I made few more albums like this and they are all different. I used different papers and embellishments. It's just an example. i could do the same mini album with just white paper.

Arpita Patel - I can not answer to Your question by replying the comment so I hope You will be able to find my answer here. If You need to create bigger album You will have to make all the measurments anew. New cover measurements, new pages measurments and I can't give You one answer. My mini is designed the way that everyone can make the cover using 12*12 paper. After making that assumption I just made everything else. If You want to make it bogger, You will not be able to use only one paper for the cover. You must split it. The same with the inner pages. Or maybe I just misunderstood Your question?

Well... English is not my native language and I have followers from around the world. Not every one of them speak english and my intension was that this video would be understood without knowing any foreign language. Subtitles written in english can be easily translate via Google Translator on any language.

megha hegde thank you ❤️ this album was made few years ago and I think you won’t get the same papers as I used in mine. But i am sure you will find many similar ones. There are plenty of online scrapbooking stores and each of them carries papers.

Anna.. This is such an amazing video, this scrapbook looks so elegant.. :) :) I've been trying to make one myself..but a little differently.. On one side, i want to punch and bind the pages, and the other end has to be this flap cover.. well, i'll keep adding the pages later so i don't know how to make sure that the flap always shuts even when the album has more number of pages.. can you suggest how to do this

I am using Magic glue. I do not know if it is available in other countries than Poland because it's produced by a polish manufacturer KAMABEN. It's very cheap, costs less than a dollar for one glue.

I do not understand - are You talking about the paperscraps that are glued after the base is ready? If so - yes. Otherwise the scraps would wrinkle when You fold the album
