You are truly an amazing artist. I came here to learn to make the eyes in my coloring pages look more realistic. I am not an artist and have no idea even after your explanation how to do anything like what I saw you do. That eye looked so real it even looked wet. Way over my head! Beautiful work. You are truly gifted. Thanks for sharing, you are too good to help me I am afraid. All the best, Sean

this is amazing. I recently began drawing again after many years of being away, I mostly draw in graphite, but am now obsessed with colored pencils, but am also having a difficult time blending and shading. Any advice or tips? I seem to do ok with smaller projects like an eye etc, but get a bit overwhelmed with portraits or wildlife...
@emmykalia8 жыл бұрын
+Christine Larocque I had the same in the beginning. What I did was just start practicing. I have a lot of unfinished drawings because I wasn't satisfied. But I did learn along the way what works and what not. When I started drawing with colored pencils, I started with the polychromos and I had a difficult time blending too. Especially skin tones. 2 years later I bought the luminance pencils and they are perfect for me. They are much softer than the polychromos. I use the luminance now mostly for drawing skin and the polychromos for the details.

I am a self taught artist. I started using Crayola lol. Ppl always say u have to watch tutorials, take color blending classes, paint sessions. Litterly all I do is make random lines, turn it into something cool, then mix colors together to make a beautiful pic. For things like my profile pic I just use some refrance photos and add my own twist. ANYONE CAN BE AN ARTIST. also sorry if my English isn't very good I'm not very good at it.
