Great video, really helpful I just want to add one more thing the X65 granade for the Smokey can be found on bunch of skeletons around that tower in vulcano. Just so other people know if they watch this and cant find it like I could not :)

@@fixaraa3743 'basically vanilla' are not vanilla at all in their gameplay, it's just a name they chose since most people don't like 50 mods. Their admins also seem pretty bad from what I've heard

This is a great video, well made. I got to the temple and the hammer head isn't there, very annoying, this is my 4th attamed. Didn't know I had to go to oil rig and KMUC, now I do. 2:05 What is that smoke, is that smoky? Will it kill me? Sorry for all the questions but I'm very new to Deer Isle.

you can try. there is island left to arctic. its not that far from arctic. put your bear suit in protector case and and also some stuff to make fire.

I've been playing in for a month i think on Deer Isle, and i have the head piece but can't understand the second maze part for handle, is there exit nearby like the teleporter, will staff will remain untouched etc. If there will be a video on full maze run for handle, please inform me. Thanks

Does it still mark 25m when you're literally next to the container? And is it just one container per location?

there are about 80 different locations for crates. on vanilla settings 4 crates should be at same time. Its possible that there is another crate close but its just possibility.

@freddydayz I see. Are the locations active once per restart, right? Like you said, there's usually 80 locations, but only one activated, I assume? and 4 containers in that exact location. The 25m mark on the beacon is confusing to me. I was looting the lake that's close to the bunker and saw a container, didn't have the skeleton staff but it still marked 25m, so Idk if it's marking another container nearby or the container that has the staff or is a bug and it should mark, idk 2m when you're that close. Weird shit

@@Aven115 there was no recent updates for deer isle, i guess it should be the same. I have seen situation when two crates are very close to each other, but its very rare.

Is there something u need to do before in order to trigger the skull staff spawning? Did like 20 underwater crates and no staff so far :(

maybe server you play is bagged. does not be that way. code for skull stuff can not be controlled by server owners but usually there should be about 50% chance. I dont now exact numbers but for me there usually in one of few conters will be skull stuff. not 20.

you have different ball. you had Z-42 granade, for smokey you need to have X65.

thors hammer quest is defined by Deer Isle dev. My guess - it should be that way. But servers might screw it up with their settings.

If the end prize is still the snow owl, its the dumbest mission in DayZ history and not worth it....

quest is an achievement in itself and it's the adventure that counts, not the reward. also it must be said that heavy modded servers with loot+ with jug arrmor and one-tappers reduces JMC weaponry. If you played on a Vanilla+ style server, where DayZ is still DayZ, you would understand that JMC weapons are very OP and such a reward gives big benefits in PVP.

@@freddydayz Namalsk mission end prize is the Vegan serum, made u invisible to zombies. That Id say is worth the adventure. The combat system in DayZ is too broken to have a gun as the end prize of an adventure like this.

@@Jonty161 Its first time I hear that people goes to Lantia to get zombie serum. By Namalsk vanilla settings its possible to get best Vanilla guns in Lantia. Most popular Namlask servers have added Gauss rifle to have cool prize at the end. People are not looking for serums but cool guns as a prize.

@@freddydayz The vega serum, its real and on Lantia. Guass rifle is useless, ammo is rare. What use is a guass rifle or snow owl when any other is fine, Iv taken out fully geared players with heavy punches... snow owl is not worth it. Vega serum however is cool. Imagine looting a military area dense with zombies bt they dont see u, thats a tactical advantage in a world filled with zombies.
