For tight spaces like the weapon pegs that you had removed, you can use a sewing needle or a thumb tack and the head of your clippers to hammer a pitot hole into the plastic. I prefer a needle, but I've gotten them stuck to the point where I've needed to use pliers to remove them because my fingers were too damp to get a grip on such a narrow object.

Thanks for the info. After seeing the effort. I think am going to just make the small joint part out of milliput. So I can have extras to glue to the guns, and skip putting magnets into the guns.

Super helpful, as I'm about to magnetise a Deff Dread for a friend of mine! The only thing I think I'll do differently is cutting and magnetising the gun mount balls at the same time as the lower arms in part 1. They seem very much the same process if done at the same time. Again, thank you so much, never considered using putty in the body!
