I just ordered the parts you listed and they showed up in 8 days! They were estimated as late as 6-8 weeks. Now I just need to get the power supply. What did you do to the mirror at the end my friend, and why did you say you can only do it to acrylic?

He hit it with the heat gun. You can use a heat gun to bend acrylic. You can even fold it.

It was water with a small amount of washing up liquid. its doesnt stick the film to the glass just allows you to remove the trapped air

Will any 2.1 mount work? 2.1mm I.D. , 5.5mm O.D. ?

Hi Mike any type of socket and plug will work, I used that type in the video because its easy and used by alot of power supplies. In my case it had to fit in the frame , if it had been to long i would have needed to have a spacer on the outside of the frame. The sizes you list are standard and as long as they match its all good :)

Im guessing you mean for the mirror , Im sure you could, I dont think the mirror would look very deep but ive never tried it
