The detailed steps for replacement have the following points:
1. Remove the original 4720 #nozzle,
2. Remove the decryption card
3. Remove the shelf
4. Swap riser cards
(1)First, remove the Epson4720 nozzle. The first step is to unplug the nozzle cable. Next, use a screwdriver to remove the screws around the nozzle. Then set the 4720 nozzle aside.
(2)After removing the print head, unplug the cable of the decryption card. Then use a screwdriver to remove the screws around the decryption card.
(3)Remove the silver shelf in the video. Use a screwdriver to remove a total of four screws on the left side. After the shelf is removed, put it aside. This shelf is not needed to replace the I3200. Then install the four screws back and use a screwdriver to tighten the four screws.
(4)When exchanging the riser card, you can use a screwdriver to gently lift the left riser card, and repeat the left operation for the right riser card. After setting the two riser cards aside, pick up the riser card for the I3200. Note when installing the riser card for I3200: the holes at the bottom of the riser card should correspond to the pins at the installation site one by one, and ensure that each pin and hole fit perfectly during the installation process. To be compact, aligned. Repeat the above operation for the riser card on the right.
(5)After the above operations are completed, the I3200 nozzle needs to be installed. The side with the EPSON logo is the right side of the nozzle. Cable 4 is on top, cable 3 is on the bottom, cable 1 on the left is on the bottom, and cable 2 is on top.
Install the I3200 print head on the position where the 4720 print head was removed, and the side with the EPSON logo is on the right. Using a screwdriver, tighten the two screws diagonally to the I3200 nozzle. After the screws are tightened, continue to insert the print head cable. Pay attention to the top and bottom, left and right when inserting the nozzle cable. Cable 4 corresponds to the upper right, which corresponds to the CN4 position of the riser card. Cable 4 corresponds to CN3, cable 2 corresponds to CN2, and cable 1 corresponds to CN1. After the above cables are plugged in, the nozzle is installed.
If the ink sac originally had it, it didn't need to be moved, it could be used directly.
(6)Then turn on the machine and test the operation of the trolley.
(7)After the boot is completed, press and hold the Maintenance button, and then follow the steps of Advanced→Nozzle→Type (the previous 4720 printhead was selected *D), and finally changed to the I3200 printhead is to select *E.
