Does compression in VirtualDub give any advatange versus uncompressed avi? Other advatange than smaller filesize? Nice to see you have done these tutorials, they are very useful for new moviemakers!

for some reason after converting the images into a avi. it just turns red and doesent work. i have ffdshow and laga blabla codec and i did everything step by step. As this has worked perfectly before on my older xp computer. But it simply doesent on vista. which is the reason im looking right now. ANd im running the 32bit version of vdbub etc. Perhaps my HLAE was/is bugged. HELP

hey when I add the last command with the "start", click goto, and pressing "Play" and after that "Esc" I walk 1-2 frames and the HLAE "STOPS" and after that I have to quit the process with CTRL + ALT + DELETE because the HLAE is not responding anymore ...... ;xx pls tell me whats the problem ? ;x

When I change the FPS to 60 (mine was recorded at 60 FPS) and export it as AVI, it goes in slow mo...what should I do?

@ender95 i recorded 1 hour ago with 200 fps in hlae and then i compressed with lagarith codec with 200 fps too ... but my video it's still lagging ... do you know why?
