EDIT: Afterwards I noticed the left pinion was not straight due to the motor shaft being bent. Hence the sound the car was making. Took me two days of readjusting before I noticed the pinion was out of balance.

Yes as they are both connected to the same receiver port with a y-cable. So both receive the same signal at the same time.

Honestly it's hard to answer that as Rlaarlo have been changing and swapping manufactures and therefore technologies. If you tell me which ones you have, I will see if I own them and test it for you. 😊😏

Hello brother Please I want ask you question I'm buyed rc car wltoys 124017 v1 I'm so tired of the talk I've heard about this car because everyone tell you have problems in gear . You can't play in off road and send. It's a broken car . I do not want to try these methods so that it does not stop working, because this car came to me as a gift. and I don't understand what's wrong of this car please can you tell me what's wrong 😢

Hello my friend. OK you are right but the reason is simple. Version 1 of the 124017 was released with horrible cogging ( gear problems.) and transmission problems. However after 3 weeks, WLToys released version 2 which fixed the problems. As it was so long ago there should not be any version 1's left to buy. But I would ask the seller what version they are selling first, before buying it. Version 2 was very good. Version 1 had a lot of problems. Hope this helps. Kind regards John

Can you tell me how to differentiate between the two versions? I have the first version and it is very fast and I did not find any problem with the transmission, but I do not know whether it will malfunction when you walk on off roads or not.

@@-fathakker a new esc will fix the gearing problem. But of course you then need to buy a new transmitter. If it was me. I would be happy with the car and just drive in onroad / tarmac / asphalt. ☺️👍
