TUTORIAL - Large Minecraft Futuristic Base PART 1 - Futuristic Minecraft Dome - Futuristic Mega Base

Here is Part one of this massive Sci-Fi Megabase the Large Futuristic Dome. Part 2 coming soon!
This awesome Large Futuristic Minecraft Dome Base has been a fan favourite on the channel since I showcased it before. This Megabase takes around a 71x71x50 space with a beacon at the centre. Due to the size and complexity i've broken this up into 2 videos rather than trying to fit it all into 1. The Large Futuristic Minecraft Base looks amazing and contains a breakdown of some interior ideas you can use in part 2.

So, I gotta say, loving this tutorial! I know I'm super late. I'm up currently to the past where starting quartz onto the towers. For some people who used shroom lights instead of sea lanterns, another nice alternative to the end rods is copper rods. They tie in very nice with shroom lights :) I think u could also use chains depending on what colors u used etc Thanks again for the tutorial, its looking so good so far!

Amazing build. i started a test build since it was recommended to me to do in my hardcore end world. The only issue I have come in with was two of the domes don't connect with the inner circle and was wondering if you could help me out with that. Don't know if it's supposed to be like that, I've double-checked all my measurements and while two opposing domes connect with the outer wall, the other two don't

Thank you! Whenever something like that doesn't quite match up then creating a diagonal line through the centre block helps as you'll be able to see what corners if any are off the line. Also there's a world download available to help in Discord.

Are you rounding your numbers up when doing this? cause when i put a 71x71 then count out 36 blocks its like not the middle at all and then i get super confused on how yours is in the middle and mine isnt lol i dont play on java so i cant just download the world either i love big builds and got all the mats for this beauty...send help please ty

Best way to make sure you’re in the middle is to build diagonal lines from corner to corner and where they cross is middle. Also it’s on the 36th block not after and make sure you count the edge blocks 👍🏻

For people building this in survival I’ve found that you can substitute quartz with white concrete which is way easier to get.

Indeed, apart from the slabs and stairs. As a halfway house all the floors can be switched for concrete with little impact.

You can, but you will still need the quartz for the stairs and slabs. Villagers are the best way to get lots of quartz. I suggest you use concrete for the floors and maybe quartz for for towers so you get the best look.

It would, but you can't have slabs and stairs in concrete. Best thing to do is use Concrete for the floor and keep the quartz for the walls. Also Stone Mason villagers will trade you Quartz for an easy and infinite supply.

Just some extra help for anyone wanting to build this in survival like I plan to, these are the amount of stacks needed. Quartz - 66 stacks + 24 Cyan glass - 42 stacks + 45 Cyan concrete - 16 stacks + 44 Quartz stairs - 11 stacks + 21 Quartz slab - 10 stacks + 60 Sea lantern - 7 stacks + 53 Cyan terracotta - 7 stacks + 18 End rod - 1 stack + 28 Cyan glass pane - 1 stack

No. I don't think so. I think the slabs and stairs only came out in 1.13. You'd need to adjust it accordingly

You can, but there aren’t any slabs and stairs in concrete so it will look a bit mismatched. I would suggest using stone masons to get the quartz.

Add 2 diagonal lines from corner to corner and where they cross is the middle. Alternatively count 36 blocks (including the corners) along each side. This is the middle block.

Easiest way to find the centre is to diagonal rows of blocks from corner to corner. Where they cross is the middle.
