Your macramé hanger is the best. The ring on the bottom is great idea. Thank you.

Your macrame hanger is the best I have seen so far. Ready to try it for myself!! Hope mine works out well. I wanted one without the tassle and without the bulkiness on the bottom. Your idea with the ring on the bottom is great. Thanks!!

Omg it was unique to watch . Here is the question, is there anything in macrame where one person has created some patterns and it couldn't not be used and sold by others ? As in copy right issue ? As I have seen all the macrame artists are from different countries and basically everything just starts from simple basic knots .

I don't remember exactly - maybe a foot or two on each strand? You can always add more knots but keep in mind when you do square knots, only 2 of each 4 strand section will be used as you are tying them. Meaning, they will not be even, one side will always have more left over

Have you made this using 3mm cord? If so, what length? (I’m guessing 10-12 ft)

Can you use 3mm chord or 4mm chord? How does that affect the pattern?

you can use whatever you want, I've typically noticed smaller mm takes less ft of cord

Why do all of these tutorials require hundreds of feet of rope lol, that’s extremely expensive for only one hanger. 50 ft of cord from Michael’s is $10 a bundle, so what’s that almost $25 per plant hanger including the rings and etc? Can they not make a simple tutorial or at least list the height of the hanger they’re creating and how to measure rope depending on the length of hanger you want? Not everyone has high ceilings to accommodate a 27” macrame hanger. That’s actually why I want to make my own because my apartment has short ceilings but no one shows how to actually calculate the length of rope needed for the height of the hanger you want.
