Pini said, in traditional customs, the word is “pangling”. I would think you could more easily create shadow and dimension on a lighter canvas and I imagine it would be harder to "mold" the shape of the face as much without that really stark contrast. But this isn't within my personal skill set either, it could've also just been an insensitive choice... 🤷

Half of me absolutely adores the artistry and skill displayed, and how versatile everyday makeup is-she looks like an entirely different person! The other half says, omg! She looks like an entirely different person 😱 *adding* I’m really put off by how much he puts his fingers in the eyeshadow. That is the fastest way to ruin your makeup with germs and oils from your fingertips! Ew! Plus it is hard to get a very even application of product. Best to use quality brushes.

They were practically sharing how they've done makeup in their own way. Aside, it's not an everyday look, it's for an specific event or reason. And fyi other countries done their bridal makeup that way. Don't go around telling people that. Unique facial features my ass, have you heard of Halloween makeup? Lol.

As a bride you want to be loved and cherished for what you ARE, and not for being some cheap ass Instagram image for what society deems to be perfect. And I have seen other traditional wedding makeups from such cultures, they don't go that extreme. I just don't like fakery but if you think that's something to support, good for you 😏

Think of genital mutilation. People should remain critical towards tradition, always. There are many beautiful ones that are worth to be continued and others just need to GO.
