I knew I had seen you use keys with sari on your journals, but didn't know how you fastened them. This was perfect! Thank you. I've made 4- 4x6 Prima paper "journals", to house individually packaged die cuts on each page, for a swap. So, after they take those out, they'll have a multi page shabby journal to reuse.!

One idea is to use Postcards.. I used them because they are fairly uniform in size and thicker gsm. I used old book pages to back the postcards, and used vellum to make small pockets throughout. It was a lot faster when I figured out to place all postcards on one 8.5 x 11 book page and cut them out all at once.

Love these Wendy! Thinking I will use vintage Christmas cards instead of botanical pages. I have noticed, however, that Christmas cards vary quite a bit in size and it is not easy to find three cards exactly the same size. Guess I'll have to do some snipping and finagling to make it work. TFS the inspiration, Wendy!
@jessicaeiss25416 жыл бұрын
you could also print vintage images from online, if they are large enough too..... or even post cards.......there are so many options to use this as a template!

These are super cute. Would you maybe do a video for me and I’m sure some others would also be interested, about your sewing machine. I’m asking for a sewing machine for Christmas and have no clue what to ask for or what qualities I may want. I will be using it mostly for paper crafting and journal things. I am a little overwhelmed looking at all the choices and want something with some fun stitches but again I know nothing. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Maybe some tips of what you like that yours does and or what you wish it had. Idk. I feel a little like I’m either going to really mess this one up or I can ask experts like you for a little guidance. There are many many reviews of sewing machines out there but not any that I’m finding for our strange use of sewing paper. Thanks
@queenbeeetta6 жыл бұрын
I hope you can find the answer because I'm in the same delimia, I want a sewing machine but don't know which one to get , going to use it mainly for paper crafting as well, but don't want to spend a lot of money either but it just depends...good luck to us both. Happy crafting.
