Soo good. I think the colors react weirdly towards the end, because of the coloring Atrribute VOP and "Attenuation" being set to 2 in the video. Probably a mix up with "Amplitude"... Thoroughly enjoyed this brilliant tutorial.

Thank you so much I learnt a lot. Has anyone faced the same problem as I did with the point color? I don't really understand the range of this hair material.. no matter what range I connect as the color input it would show only flat colors, mostly only 0 value, or when it's close to like 0.0019 then it shows another color. Only then it is still not a ramp color but flat. I tried to remap the Cd to extreme numbers but no change

@@SmartAim33 The value I started was 0 to 1, either noise or evenly spread ramp value by bounding box. Then I tried to increase the max value like your noise amplitude from twice to exponential numbers. 24:25 like in your demonstration the value of color that the hair material node takes seems quite confusing... I could still work this way but mine doesn't show as ramped color like yours but sudden change from white to another like orange. This actually started from knitting hair render that I cannot display the point attribute to the color. I guess I guess I'm missing something.. I might realize one day many months later! 😂 Thank you for the reply. I'm learning a lot from your tutorials always

The same way you render hair in mantra, I guess. There is nothing unique in Redshift that Mantra can't do.
