Another person uses their longer dangle boho beads for Christmas tree ornaments! I was going to try to make some as ornaments too but your idea is BEST. I have pretty long safety pins without the twist at the end

So cute! I would make a loop around the bottom of the safety pin so the beaded bit is loose to dangle. I'd also like the safety pin to be functional still somehow. Thanks to you and Gayle for a great idea.

These turned out really cute! I have been making Boho ones, using small wooden dowels and glueing pieces of sari fabrics around the dowels, then winding thread and wire around them and also adding beads to the bottom and tops. It is a long process, but the end results are great! TFS! Always enjoy your tutorials!

Loved this safety pin bead work, yours is beautiful!!!! I'm now wanting to purchase some beads to try and make some!!! And, by the way, you pretty bracelet dangling doesn't bother me one tiny bit, so I'm sure I'm like most of your subbies....just wear your bracelet and don't worry one more second about it. Tip, to do the coil part its a lil less of a hassle when you use a flat nose pliers, with the round nose pliers it was harder for me when I make swirls. Also do you have a picture on how to use these beautiful safety pins on a project cause I noticed/I believe that you mentioned the safety pin will not open after you wire/glue everything down?
@TracieFoxCreative6 жыл бұрын
I attach it with a ball bin or yarn. Once I make the bead, its a bead not a safety pin any longer xxx
@12lesflo6 жыл бұрын
Sorry for asking, not sure what a ball bin is, can you tell me what that is? I'm really interested.
