For factory tightened screws: Put a drop of hydrogen peroxide on & around the screw & let it sit for an hour or two. You might want to put the machine on its side so it can really get in there. Sounds weird but it works. After you get the screw out, dry everything off and leave screw out to make sure there is zero moisture to prevent any rust.
