Tutorial & Solo Playthrough of Puzzle Dungeon - Solo Board Game

In this video, I teach and play through the solo game, Puzzle Dungeon, by Brian Garber. Puzzle Dungeon is a solitaire, dungeon crawler game where you play a hero on a quest to defeat monsters. The game comes with many heroes to choose from and customizable difficulty. Unfortunately, it looks like Brian doesn't have any copies available for sale. Perhaps he is between reprints.

Thanks for the play through. I have this game on your recommendation and it is a little daunting with all the cards. Now I can see better how to play.

Yeah, if you have the deluxe, there are sooo many cards. Definitely choose an easier hero to start (easy goals like 8 total kills, not kings). The first few plays may be challenging, but as you get used to the cards, it will get somewhat easier. Thanks for watching!

Awesome playthrough! Unfortunately, even when available, the designer couldn't ship to Italy so I bought the PnP version but I still had not played it... I certainly will now! Thanks for reminding me about this game, it looks awesome! I can see why it's one of your favorites. Just one doubt: activating the monster ability after you defeat it is a must or optional?

That's a great question. Abilities being triggered must happen, unless it specifically states it as optional or "you may" or "up to" (you can choose zero). It's part of the puzzle. I do hope you enjoy it when you play it. Thanks for watching!
