Hi Ben - thanks for the video and answering all these advanced questions! Since AirTable doesn't have a way to bring in stock data without an extension, I was hoping to use Google Sheets to perform the lookup, then get updates into Airtable. I will give it a try, but not sure if dynamic lookup data (e.g. stock price) would be handled.

Had problem with this before. What I did in this case is I added a Last Time Modified column. In sheets, I created another sheet to filter results based on latest modified time and date. Downside of this is that it consumes bandwidth in sheets.

Any recommendations on how best to maintain an exact 1 to 1 relationship between a Google Sheets table and an AirTable table. I like to work within Google Sheets for a variety of reasons for my workflow, but I've been asked to detail my status within AirTable. I can do a lot with what you've shown above, but updating records and changing their status is still a problem. Great video!

I do not know of a great solution for it to be perfect or exact. I would commit to using one tool or the other for this.

Previously, you could use the Airtable attachment URL, but those now expire. You would want to store the link somewhere else. Ex: upload the attachment in google drive and then use that link

Great tutorial!, Ben. Is there any way to sync even the delete function? For instance, If I delete a record from Airtable that was synced in Google Sheets, it would also be deleted in Google Sheet.

Hi Dhaval, you can do this via a workaround by marking for deletion rather than actual deletion. Then you would allow the automation to delete both the gsheet record and your airtable record.
