Hi Jakob Haq, great tutorial! However, could you please show us how to open the track templates window ( 1'.52")? how can we set up the specific CC's on the x and y slots? finally, is it possible to choose different step lengths per track on the sequencer? Unfortunately, there's no manual for this app.. so please help! Cheers

Sooo... is this a step sequencer at all? I don’t seem to be able to enter notes. Juist move notes on the top part of the screen, or record. But what if i want to enter step by step (i thought that was the definition of step sequencing)? Entering a pad on the keyboard doesn’t seem to do anything.

Yes! I was waiting for this. So it's a chord sequencer too? That is so cool. I find the length value to be very difficult to work with. For instance if I want to set them all to the same quantised length for instance. Or reset the length without deleting my note.

This is too fast. I'm trying to follow but I'm not getting any sound. Could we just have a tutorial where we do one simple step - eg "let's connect a synth - any ios synth - and play a simple pattern. How to connect the midi, how to get a sound out of it. When we have done that, let's make a simple drum loop from something else and get that working... and so on....?

The part at 4:12 where you move a note in the step sequencer, which then moves multiple notes/ chords in the piano roll according to the scale selected. It doesn't follow any scale or logic. Eg if you have a c maj in the piano roll and you have c maj scale selected, and then move up 1 step in the step sequencer , you would expect the 3 notes in the piano roll to be moved up to form a d min chord .... No it don't

Thanks, Jacob. This looks like old school MIDI...on steroids. Maybe I won't sell all my old hardware synths just yet...my wife is going to be pissed!...and it's your fault! Got a spare room???
